Somewhere to live,
Somewhere to work,
Someone to care
Blyth Star Enterprises is a Northumberland-based charity which provides Living Support, Day Services and vocational training opportunities for adults aged 18+ with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities.
My life is better since I came to Blyth Star. I am working, I have friends and am gaining new skills.
I love Blyth Star and the Nurseries. It’s like my family.
I absolutely love it here, you can just be you, with no one judging you.
When I’m not here, I’m just stuck at home. The Steamboat gives me somewhere to go where I can meet my friends.
I work hard at The Woodfuel Centre but I enjoy being here, and I’m learning new things all the time.
Who we are & What we do
Founded by a group of parents and carers in 1987, Blyth Star Enterprises provides rehabilitation and recovery services that support individuals living with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities.
Through our range of Living Support services and Social Care Day Services, we help individuals to develop or regain the skills and confidence they need to live safely and successfully in their local communities.
Our mission is upheld by our three core values, that everyone should have somewhere to live, somewhere to work and someone to care.
